The List

This is a list of all of the weird, random little things I've learned to do since being a parent.  Some of them are things I never thought I'd do, some of them are things I swore I'd never do and others are just things I've never even thought about.

  1. Nursing while running.  Starting with this as this is what inspired the list.
  2. Nursing.  Not something I'd ever thought about until I was pregnant, and even then I was a little
  3. Nursing in public.  I can nurse anywhere, anytime without a problem.  Walking, eating, and now even running.
  4. Find babies cute.  Of course I think my babies are cute, but now I can even call other people's babies cute.  And usually mean it.
  5. Change a diaper.
  6. Change a cloth diaper.
  7. Shake and swish.
  8. Put up with annoying strangers making rude comments about my parenting.
  9. Make small talk with the crazy lady mama at random child venues.
  10. Discuss the head (or lack) of my son's penis with near-strangers.
  11. Catch puke.  With my bare hands.  Oh, and I'm good at this one.  I even caught the dog's puke once.  Seriously.  I absolutely did not want to have to wash the couch.
  12. Share the bathroom.  I no longer have performance anxiety when trying to shit in front of an audience of short people.
